FAQ
What type of photo sessions can I book?
I offer photo sessions for the following areas: portrait, dance, destination and travel, maternity, newborns and babies, children, family, couples, friends, small weddings, family events or other important events of life you would like to have beautiful memories of.
Do you sell vouchers for photo sessions?
Absolutely! I think a personal photo session is a wonderful present. I offer vouchers starting from a value of 30 € or a full photo session package. Feel free to have a chat with me, I am happy to advise you which option would be the best for you (and your loved ones).
Where does the shooting take place?
This is entirely your decision. Depending on the type of session you're looking for, the session can happen at the following places: my home studio in central Berlin, in the comfort of your own home, or a chosen location in Berlin. If you're unsure about what might be the best option, I am more than happy to discuss the options in detail and advise you.
How can I use my photos?
The copyright stays with me as the photographer. You receive the right for private use without restriction (e.g. use as a profile picture, print it as many times as you want, post on social media). If you publish photos online (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), my name (Malena Juerss Photography) must be tagged. You are not allowed to change/edit the photos or use filters on them, nor sell them or pass on the right of use to third parties. PS: If photos are required for marketing purposes, the website or social media accounts of your business, the prices I charge will differ.
What if the weather for a scheduled photo session isn't ideal?
In case the weather isn't as expected, the photo session will be rescheduled to a new date upon agreement.
What should I wear for my photo session?
A general rule of thumb: wear what you most feel comfortable in, something that makes you feel beautiful and gives you confidence. We will also discuss this during the phone consultation and I am happy to advise you which style and colour would be ideal depending on the location etc. And yes - you're also able to change your clothes during the session (not possible when booking the MINI TASTER SESSION due to limited time).
When and how do I get my photos?
Since every photo is professionally edited and, if necessary, retouched, the processing time can take up to 4 weeks, depending on the order situation (exceptions apply if you order more photos or a customised session package that has a bigger volume). If you need individual photos faster, I am happy to send them to you within 2 days upon request. As I know you can't wait to see and share the beautiful photos we created together, so I will naturally edit them as fast as possible (while always maintaining the highest quality).
You will receive the photos in high resolution via digital download and besides the coloured also a black and white version of all selected photos.
